ACTS Teens

Modeled on the sessions offered in schools, ACTS Teens are meetings held after school hours at Gattard House in Blata l-Bajda, for students who wish to find further support in their spiritual growth and meet other students from various schools who are also seeking such help.

These meetings are led by a team of 18 young people, in collaboration with the ACTS’ full-time volunteers. After a restructuring of the teen section of Youth Fellowship, ACTS Teens was formed in 2007 as an extension to ACTS, to provide follow-up meetings for students who have attended the ACTS’ sessions. ACTS Teens organises meetings on Fridays, once every fortnight, that address challenging issues that are relevant to teens and their daily realities.

Prayer is a crucial part of the meeting because it is the foundation on which the meetings are built and a fundamental part of our beliefs. Social events, like film nights and hikes, are also organised throughout the year, together with live-ins and retreats to further encourage and aid the teens in their spiritual development and relationship with God and others.
